⚖️ The State Bar of California disclosed that AI was used to develop 23 scored multiple-choice questions in the February 2025 bar exam — a test already marred by major technical glitches, platform crashes, and widespread complaints from test-takers. In response, the Bar will request the California Supreme Court to adjust exam scores. Legal educators slammed the move, calling it “unbelievable” that non-lawyers with AI tools helped write actual licensing exam content, raising fresh concerns about quality control and fairness in professional testing.

🤖 Alphabet just handed Wall Street a pleasant surprise, posting $2.81 earnings per share on $90.23 billion in revenue — way above expectations — sending its stock up nearly 5% after hours. Google Cloud chipped in a solid $12.6 billion, Waymo is now giving 250,000 paid robo-rides a week (your Uber driver just got nervous), and Alphabet casually reminded everyone it’s about to drop $75 billion this year on AI toys, servers, and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the "Other Bets" division is still losing money faster than a college kid at a Vegas blackjack table — with losses climbing to $1.23 billion

K–12 Classrooms Are Getting a Tech Upgrade

President Donald J. Trump has signed a sweeping Executive Order to inject AI education directly into America's K–12 schools, signaling a major shift in how the U.S. plans to prepare the next generation. 

The move creates a White House Task Force on AI Education, retools federal grants to reward schools integrating AI curriculum, and launches the flashy new Presidential AI Challenge to spotlight young tech innovators. From first graders to high school seniors, students will be expected to know their machine learning from their multiplication tables — and rural communities will get special focus to make sure nobody’s left behind.

What's Actually in the Executive Order

In true Washington style, the plan is ambitious, packed with acronyms, and surprisingly forward-thinking. Here’s what’s officially happening:

• 📚 AI in K–12 Curricula: Schools are encouraged to sprinkle AI education into lesson plans like it’s the new STEM — starting from elementary grades onward.
  

• 👩‍🏫 Teacher Training and Support: No hard quotas yet, but educators will see new grants, certification programs, and resources to help them teach AI without losing their minds (or their chalk).

• 🌎 Equity Focus: Rural, remote, and underserved schools will get specific support to bridge the tech gap and ensure future coders aren't just born near Silicon Valley.

But What’s the Deal?

The message here is loud and clear: AI isn’t just something tech bros argue about on Twitter anymore — it’s basic life skills, like tying your shoes or pretending to like your coworker's potluck casserole. By making AI literacy part of the standard school experience, the U.S. is setting up its future workforce to speak “machine” as fluently as they speak English.

Companies that embrace this shift will snag the first wave of AI-fluent talent, fresh out of high school and ready to prompt, debug, and innovate circles around traditional hires.
