Welcome back apprentices! 👋
We’ve made it to that deliciously weird time between Christmas and New Year’s, where the days blur together, no one knows what day it is, and your fridge is 80% leftover pie and questionable cheeses.
It’s the liminal zone of the calendar — where anything feels possible, and nothing feels urgent.
And honestly? We love that for us.
So in this final edition of the year, we’re doing something different.
This isn’t just another list of AI tools or trending models.
It’s part holiday survival guide, part reflection prompt pack, part open letter to you, our incredible community.
It’s our way of saying:
“Thank you.”
“We see you.”
“Here’s a bit of useful (and fun) AI magic for the season.”
And “Let’s build something even more meaningful together in 2026.”
You Deserve a Break

If you’re tempted to sneak away for a spontaneous New Year’s trip — even if it’s just daydreaming — here’s a quick way to use AI to make it real.
Try this in ChatGPT:
“Act as a travel planner. I have a $1,000 budget for a 3-day New Year’s trip. I’m flying from [Your City]. I want something cozy, nature-based, and not touristy. Suggest 3 options with flight + lodging + one local activity.”
It’s a fun way to spark inspiration, and tools like Wanderlog and Google Flights get even better when paired with AI that can summarize, compare, and tailor ideas for your vibe.
Even if you don’t go anywhere, just imagining you could is half the adventure.
The Leftover Remix Nobody Asked For (But Might Love)
Holiday leftovers hit different around December 27 — part blessing, part chaos.
Here’s a way to have a little fun with them:
“I have: cranberry sauce, half a rotisserie chicken, roasted carrots, and puff pastry. Suggest 3 surprising but delicious recipes. Bonus: make one sound like it came from a Michelin-star chef.”
Results we actually tried:
🫓 Cranberry-Chicken Empanadas with Spiced Carrot Aioli
🍨 Eggnog & Ginger Sorbet (surprisingly good)
🍲 “Everything Stew” (name needs work, taste doesn’t)
Is it weird? Sometimes.
But that’s part of the fun — especially with family or guests around.
AI turns your fridge into a sandbox.
You, Reflected Back — Intelligently
This time of year begs reflection.
But staring at a blank page doesn’t always lead to insight.
So let AI ask the questions.
Try:
“Act as a reflective coach. Ask me 5 deep but useful questions about my year, no fluff.”
Or:
“Turn my 2025 Google Calendar into a summary of my energy highs and lows.”
We’ve used prompts like these ourselves, and they’re eerily insightful.
Not because AI knows you, but because it helps you know you better.
It’s a mirror, not a mind reader. And sometimes, a mirror is exactly what we need.
Designing 2026 with More Intention (and Less Pressure)
Resolutions are out. Realistic, AI-assisted planning is in.
Here are a few GPT prompts we’ve loved using to shape our own 2026:
“Design a 3-level goal system: 1) daily habits, 2) monthly projects, 3) yearly life themes. Keep it doable but exciting.”
“Write a 2026 vision statement for me based on these 5 values…”
“What 3 support systems would make my life simpler and more joyful next year?”
The key is clarity, not perfection.
If you’re designing a life, AI can be your drafting buddy.
P.S. We’ve bundled our favorite prompts into a gift at the end of this letter.
Truths AI Reminded Us of in 2025
2025 was a wild year for tech.
But under all the headlines, some very human truths held strong.
Here are the ones we’re carrying into 2026:
Attention is your most valuable currency.
Connection beats perfection. Always.
Tech is only as helpful as your boundaries.
Rest isn’t laziness. It’s fuel.
You are not a robot. And that’s the whole point.
No prompt can replace presence.
AI is here to assist — but you are still the main character.
From Us to You
We started this newsletter because we love two things:
Building smarter systems.
Connecting with curious humans like you.
And now? We’ve found something even better:
A community of people across the world using AI not just to automate life — but to enrich it.
In 2026, here’s what we’re working toward with you:
More clear, no-hype insight into AI’s real-world uses
More tools that save time, amplify creativity, and build clarity
More of you in the conversation — your stories, feedback, and needs guiding us
We want this to be the year AI goes from “cool tech” to “trusted co-pilot.”
And we want to grow that journey together.
